James Douglas was raised in Austin, Texas. His father owns an Engineering firm His mother, a physicist turned doctor, owns a private medical practice. James started acting in early childhood, and began taking acting lessons as a way to meet women at the age of 18. His first stage acting role was 'Romeo' in Shakespear's 'Romeo and Juliet', followed by a small uncredited role in the film 'Waiting for Guffman'. Several small roles in feature films followed, including 'The Faculty', 'Varsity Blues', 'Just Sue Me' and 'A Slipping Down Life'. On the set of 'A Slipping Down Life', Lili Taylor recommended he study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in New York City, which he did soon after. Upon graduation, he made his producing debut and starred in the film Mockingbird (2002). He has written numerous screenplays, including 'Suicide Jack' and 'Valhalla's End'. Johnathan Gwyn, Chief Executive Officer of several entities from environmental to entertainment followed his father's footsteps and developed his entrepreneurship mentality at 12 years old. By his early twenties, he assisted his family at Waste Control Services, one of the top 500 Hispanic businesses several years in a row. After working 8 years in the disaster response industry, he decided to move into the entertainment field, where he moved from entry level roles, to then acting, writing, producing, directing, and preparing for a slate of productions. Johnathan has shared and developed ideas with many top Hispanic film and television icons which he considers heroes, such as Antonio Banderas and Andy Garcia.
Among his notable accomplishments,most recently is a nomination for an "Imagen Award" happening the 10th, of August 2012 and a second "Telly Award win this year". Johnathan Gwyn has utilized his passion to encourage young entertainers to reach their goals and follow their dreams. While serving in the environmental business, he mentored under Houston's oldest and best animators, engineers, and pioneers in pioneering Radio, Film, and designing and building television affiliates PBS and CBS in Houston Texas. Johnathan options, writes, directs, and produces feature films, music videos, commercials, shorts that win a main stream audience. Johnathan Gwyn was instrumental in the development and start-up of Viva Vision, the largest mobile TV entertainment service portal, serving as Director of Production and Brand Management. Additionally, in 2008, Viva Vision was named one of the top five media companies on the INC. 500 list of fastest growing private companies in America. Josh was born on May 19th, 1987 in Richardson, TX. From a young age, he enjoyed performing for friends and family. He moved to Wylie in the spring of 2001 and began to pursue an interest in Theatre. He began to really focus on acting during his Sophomore year at Wylie High School where he took on such roles as, "The White Rabbit" in Alice in Wonderland, which won him a Dallas Morning News Cappie's Best Comedic Actor nomination in 2005.
He went on to study Theatre in College at UT-Arlington and began taking classes towards a Film minor as well. There he wrote and directed his first short film "Purpose Driven Life". He moved to Austin, TX in 2008 shortly after stage managing his first show "WORKING: The Musical" directed by Dallas area legend BJ Cleveland.
Upon his arrival in the "Live Music Capital of the World", Josh began working as a Stage Manager, Lighting Technician, and Scenic Carpenter for Austin Community College. During his first year at ACC, Josh simultaneously stage managed Shelby Brammer's production of "Proof" by David Auburn while also starring as "Pentheus" in Arthur Adair's adaptation of "Euripides' Bacchae", for which he was nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Award during the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's Regional competition in the Fall of 2008. After 4 1/2 successful years working on various productions at ACC, Josh was offered and accepted the role of Technical Director for an elite event lighting/production company leading crews, managing warehouse inventory, and aiding in lighting designs for various events which included Weddings, Bar Mitzvah's, Band Showcases, and many Corporate Events.
Currently, Josh is the vocalist of the heavy metal cover band "Röadhed" and continues to pursue opportunities in all art mediums including theatre, film, television, and music.- Brenna Leigh Whitten is a 20 year old actress local to the Dallas area. The majority of her acting experience comes from the stage, but recently has been pursuing experience in film in the DFW area. She began performing as a vocalist at age 6 and continued training until she was 18 when she decided to focus her efforts and time on acting.
